Happy St. George’s Day, weevils! St. George’s Day serves as the national day of England, commemorating the country’s patron saint, celebrated for his legendary dragon-slaying. This day is a tribute to England and its cultural heritage, marked by music festivals, feasts, traditional folk dances, parades, and re-enactments of medieval dragon battles! This day is also commemorated in honour of William Shakespeare’s birthday, who is regarded as one of the greatest writers in history!
