Hi weevils, it’s me Ram! I’m the Bin’s tech whiz and video gaming expert! I’ve received several reports from weevils across the Binscape wanting to make Battle of The Bin more competitive, along with the competition offering new and improved rewards! Well, you asked and I heard! Read on to find out what’s changed!

Let me explain some of the changes in a bit more detail:

• Firstly, I’ve increased the amount of Mulch, XP and Dosh for weevils who finish in 1^st and 2^nd place at the end of the week! This should reflect the time and energy spent competing for the top spot, earning that prestigious Battle of The Bin trophy to display with pride! Additionally, I’m introducing a new currency & XP prize pack for weevils who finish in 3^rd place – every great effort deserves recognition!
• Secondly, I’m adding a new prize into the mix for weevils who finish in 1^st place – a gorgeous animated Battle of The Bin Backdrop! Ooh la la! You can never collect too many backdrops, weevils!
• Thirdly, weevils who finish in 1^st and 2^nd place will both enjoy the exclusive perk of being bigger and big respectively! During Halloween, 1^st place will turn super small and 2^nd place will turn tiny!
• Fourthly, at the end of the week, weevils who finish between 10^th and 4^th place will now earn some Dosh for participating. Each place increases by 5 Dosh coins, for example finishing in 10^th place will give you 5 Dosh, finishing in 9^th place will give you 10 Dosh and so on and so forth. 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place are excluded.
• Fifthly, the Battle of The Bin Bin Badge has been revamped from 1 star to 5! Do you have what it takes to get as many wins as possible to maximise this badge? Slow and steady wins the race!
• Finally, I’ve been busy working on a Battle of The Bin Hall of Fame, that will only display the top 10 highest scores. This is to encourage weevils with a competitive side to try keep the no.1 spot! Do you have what it takes? Please note, previous high scores from when this competition was introduced will not be displayed. Only the top scores from when these changes take effect will be logged.

These changes will take effect on the 26^th May 2025.
